Excellence :

           

-         1st series : a personnal choice of an etude by Chopin or Rachmaninov, Bartok,

                        Ssriabine or Debussy, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Szymanovski…

-         2nd series : a personnal choice of a romantic piece by Chopin, Schubert, Liszt,

Schumann, Mendelssohn, Franck, Brahms, Rachmaninov or Scriabine.

-         3rd series :  a piece from Debussy until nowadays.

 

Maximum time: 25 to 30 minutes

 

 

 

 

 

“ DIPLÔME DE CONCERT”

 

 

 

              Level required ( CV) : National Academy of Music or any similar schools

 

            -  1st series :   one “etude” by Chopin on personnal choice, except op.10#3 and 6

                                   and op.25#2 and 7

2nd series :  two sonata movements by Beethoven, a slow one plus an allegro,

                         from a grand sonata by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin,

                         Scriabine, Prokofiev, Dukas or Dutilleux.

 

        Competence in the execution of these two series in eliminatory.

The judges reserve the right to interrupt a performance if a candidate’s level is   considered insatisfactory.

 

3rd series :  a piece chosen from the Spanish or South-American literature.

 

4th series :  a piece from Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Franck,

                                 or Brahms.

5th series :  a piece from Debussy until nowadays.

 

 

                                                                                  Maximum time: one hour.

 

 

 

The recipient of the Teresa LLACUNA Award (for this level) granted €1500 in prize money, presented by SPEDIDAM ( i.e. the Society for the Perception and Distribution of the Rights for Music and Danse Performers).In addition to which, the prize-winner will be offered of several recitals in the country during next summer.
